The Salem Witch Trials - Episode #21

The Salem Witch Trials were one of America's most tragic and imfamous periods in our country's history.
Starting in late 1692, over 200 people were accused of being witches. In that time period, the penelty for being a witch was death!
No one really knows with certainty how it all started, many records of the events were destroyed in an attempt to hide this dark moment in American History. Theories range from girl's playing make-believe and cruel jokes, domestic disputes between neighbors, and even contaminated bread with naturally occuring hallucinogenics.
What we do know is, in the end, 20 people were exicuted for the "crime" of witchcraft while 200 others were imprisioned.

The USAF is the biggest and most technologically advanced air power on earth, but it wasn't always this way. The Packers have a history going back over 100 years, they were there in the very beginnings of the National Football League.
The Packers have made their mark on notible moments in NFL history, such as winning the first ever Super Bowl in 1967 as well as the Super Bowl Trophy being named for legendary Packer coach Vince Lombardi.

This week we dive into another baseball episode! We discuss the 1989 Film, The Field of Dreams, starring Kevin Costner and James Earl Jones. The film tells a story of the 1919 Chicago White Sox scandal where players took bribes to throw the 1919 World Series. The members of the team were banned from baseball and the Hall of Fame.

Episode #12 - Beer & Baseball - 1974 Cleveland 10cent Beer Riot

Nothing says summertime like beer and baseball. Major League Baseball has a long history with beer brands and sponsorship deals. Sometimes the beer deals make the MLB alot of money, but on some occasions, rowdy beer loving fans can cause pure pandemonium! This week's episode we take a look at MLBs beer sponsorship history and one imfamous night in Cleveland where a 10 cent beer promotion ended in a riot with both baseball teams fighting fans on the field!
